Weekly Song! :)
This week is a bit different because I really liked this song but it doesn’t have a video yet so I am just doing the song. So the song is Titanium by Sia ft David Guetta!

Activity 3. Write a post about your favourite tool to embed on your blog
Many students mentioned they wanted to know about some more web2.0 tools they could use on their blog. So here is your chance to promote a favourite web2.0 tool. Remember to create a link in your post so your readers can visit the site you are recommending. A new one many students in my class like using is Storybird. Your teacher can create a class account, then when your book has been moderated by your teacher they can embed a story in your blog. Or you can do what Lauren has done and create a post with links to your storybirds.
My favourite web2.0 tool is Storybird. Because there is so much to choose from and you can write a story about practically anything. I have made many stories using storybird in many different genres and many different ages. Storybird I a great learning website for everyone and there is so much you can do.
Activity 6. Visit other student or class blogs
What are some of the different web 2.0 tools being used on those blogs. Are some of the tools in posts or as widgets? Look at the sidebars – are they too crowded or are they interesting because they are interactive? Do too many ‘flashy and glittery’things slow down the loading of the blog? Write a post explaining what you want your blog to be like by the end of the ten weeks. What will you include in the sidebar and why?
I hope my blog will look a bit different but not too different because I really like it the way it is. I like all of my widgets and they make my blog interesting and original. I think the falshing widgets do make the page load slower and they can get annoying sometimes. I love sidebars that are fun and interactive because that is what makes a blog fun!
Activity 5. What is digital citizenship?
Play this game about digital citizenship. How well did you go? Write a post telling your readers about digital citizenship – what you should do rather than what you shouldn’t do. Maybe you would prefer to create a book, poster or video about digital citizenship. Some web2.0 tools you might use with parental or teacher permission glogster, goanimate, audioboo or flipbook.
My score in this game was unfortunately only 42/100 some thing I think I didn’t do correctly were supporting Joe more, gathering information and the quiz I only got 12/15 both times.

My favourite web 2.0 tool would definately have to be the mixpod. I like that way people visiting your blog can listen to music while they are reading. It also gives you a whole lot of new songs for you to listen to so readers might find a singer who they never knew and they really liked them.

Activity 7. Where I would love to visit and why
Write a post or use a web 2.0 tool telling your readers about a place you would love to visit and why. Try to include some
hyperlinks (links that are underlined in your post and take your readers to another website)
The place that I would love to visit is HOLLYWOOD!!
I would love to visit Hollywood it would be like a dream come true for me. I want to walk down the Hollywood walk of fame and find me favourite celebritites stars. http://www.hollywoodchamber.net/
It would also be pretty amazing beacuase you might be lucky and see a celebrity walking througt the street or you might find their houses. I would love to go shopping in Hollywood and see the Hollywood sign.
Now that I have told you about where I would like to visit I am going to start on Activity 8.
Activity 8. Create a game or quiz about your town, state or country
A few places to do this include: Quiz Revolution, Class Tools, Remember to check with your teacher or parent before using these web 2.0 tools. Sometimes your teacher or parent will create an account that is moderated by them and is therefore safe for students to use. Do you know any other places to create games and quizzes?
You can also check out my quiz about Tasmania on my blog! ![]()
Here is a storybird I made about Tasmania.

I got back from my holiday on the 14th of September and now I am going to tell you all about
surfing.
I went surfing while I was in Queensland. I had 2 lessons with my 2 brothers William and Jono and they both went for an hour here is how I went in each lesson:
LESSON 1:
My first lesson didn’t go very well. When we got to the beach we met our coach and he gave u each a surfboard. The surfboards were really heavy and I was pleased that we didn’t have to carry them far. Once we were on the beach we put our surf boards in a straight line so we were all next to each other. Then our coach taught us ow to stand up properly. First we lay down on the surfboard with our toes just over the edge, then we had to push ourselves up onto our knees. Then we put our front foot forward (mie was my left foot) and twisted around so we were facing the back of the person in front of us. Then we stand up slowly and keep our knees bent. We had to remember all those things and most importantly we had to look forward at all times. Then we went out into the water with our surfboards. Once we were out deep enough we started surfing. One by one our coach told us to get on out boards and he a gave us a push off into the wave. We just kept on doing that for the rest of the hour. I only stood up once and I kept on falling over.
LESSON 2:
At the start of our 2nd lesson we got given a surfboard and we had to carry it down to the beach again. When w got to the beach we just went through the steps and practised on the sand for a couple of minutes and then we hit the waves. I stood up nearly every time. It was so much fun and Surfing is a sport I want to continue.
What did u do during the holidays?
This weeks video is to Jennifer Lopez’s new Song Papi.
As you might know I am participating in the student blogging challenge this year. I am currently working on the activities in challenge 2. This post is about activity 3. We have to give Miss W some idea’s of landmarks she could visit when she goes on her holiday around the world. Ok here are my idea’s I hope u guys like them.
NEW YORK:
When you go to New York you have to definitely visit the Statue of Liberty, The Empire State Building and Central Park. All 3 of these places are impossible not to go to when you are in New York.
CALIFORNIA:
When you are in California I reckon Disneyland should be on the top of your list of things to do closely followed by the Golden Gate Bridge. Also if you have time visit Alcatraz Island.
MEXICO:
I recently did a project on Mexico so I know a lot about the best tourist attractions and fun things to do. These include Teotihuacan which is the Largest Pyramid in Mexico, Chichen Itza which is a pyramid and all together it has 365 steps which is how many days we have in a year and Tulum (On the Right) this beach is a tourist attraction you cannot miss.
WASHINGTON:
When in Washington you should take a tour of the 3 houses of government and tour the national Monuments and Memorials. These places sound like fun to visit.
OREGON: In Oregon I think you should Visit Haystack Rock.
Anyway that’s all from me I hope you enjoy your holiday.
This weeks video is Miranda Cozgrove- About you now!

Ok today I am going to write a movie review on a movie called From Prada To Nada!
The blurb on the back is this:
Law student Nora Dominguez and her sister underground party girl Mary live with their father in a luxurious Beverly Hills mansion with nothing to do but shop Rodeo Drive and have a good time. In fact Mary had become so 90210she refuses to admit she is of Mexican Decent. But when dad passes away their posh lives are suddenly turned upside down, They realise they are now poor and are forced to move into the modest but lively home of their Aunt Aurelia. The two senorita’s are now on a fast track toward culture shock and the chance to discover romance, the meaning of family, and to learn that the life of PRADA actually means NADA without love, family and community.
I loved this movie it has such a good moral to it, I reccommend it to girls any age, even my mum loved it!
If you have seen this movie tell me what you liked about it.
